Safety and dignity are fundamental human rights, yet thousands are forced to risk everything in perilous journeys away from home. The root of this migration crisis isn't a lack of wealth—Africa is rich in resources—but a severe lack of opportunity, accessible training, and support for its brilliant youth. We cannot turn a blind eye. It’s time to stop treating displaced people with hostility and start building the sustainable opportunities they need to thrive right where they are.
Every human being deserves the right to safety and stability. Today, a lack of local opportunities, inaccessible professional training, and high unemployment are forcing African youth and skilled graduates into a dangerous cycle of illegal migration and precarious living conditions abroad.
No one should have to risk their life just to survive. Driven by systemic unemployment and a lack of opportunity, many African youth face a tragic choice between dangerous migration and precarious survival at home. Africa has the resources to support its people; what it needs is the collective will to build accessible pathways for its next generation. Let's stop looking away.
ODV Nuovavita is a non-profit community organization dedicated to welcoming immigrants and refugees in Africa.
Our mission
Capacity: Train and accommodate approximately 700 to 1,000 young people annually.
Reintegration: Successfully move at least 60% of annual learners out of unemployment and idleness. Welcoming and supporting immigrants and refugees in Africa, particularly those wishing to return and settle in their home countries.
Holistic Growth: Integrate psychological support and vocational training for those from prison environments to facilitate their resocialization. Implementing innovative and sustainable agricultural industrialization solutions.
Our vision
Social Stability: To create a world where African youth have the social and professional stability to thrive in their countries of origin rather than risking illegal migration.
Systemic Reform: To support African governments in actively fighting illegal immigration, unemployment, and the marginalization of needy populations.
Economic Independence: To establish a self-sustaining model where at least 60% of the center's needs are self-financed through on-site industrial processing and agro-pastoral production.
Empowerment: To move beyond basic training by ensuring post-training follow-up and subsidizing the projects of top graduates to optimize their employability.
